Jason's Favorite Things

Just like Oprah - but with much less money! HA. Seriously - I wanted to share items with friends and family that make life a little bit easier during a time of disaster / non-business as usual. Each item on the page I either personally own or personally use. And where possible - I tell you why I love it.

Secret. I have 2 of these, and use them during non-emergencies as well. They will recharge an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max 10 times...at least.  I keep 1 in my closet - and it will remain fully charges for months at a time.

The reason I have slept like a baby the past two nights with no power! This fan is amazing. Ran all night on battery while oscillating on the second highest power setting (the highest was too strong!) Not only does it keep you cool - it also has a light and a remote control that fits right into the base. I love this fan.

Not only do these look great around your house - and help lighting up dark corners, they are essential during a power outage! (And they come 2 to a pack!)

How do you make coffee before firing up your generator? Easy - boil water on this and use a french press! This stays in my closet with a bottle of butane and takes about 45 seconds to get up and running!

I know you are thinking, seriously, a flashlight? But hear me out. These stay plugged in - and when the power goes out - they automatically come on! No more fumbling in the dark - they are very visible when you need them!

To be clear, coffee is life. To go along with the stove above, I highly recommend this French Press. I have been using this very one for about 10 years, and it is fantastic.

Do you love the blue bags from Ikea? These are better! They have a zipper and are super tough. Keep all your supplies in one place and when you need them - boom - you know where they are.

Before a storm comes, I simply fill up two of these and let them hang out in the kitchen. That way, I have 10 gallons of water ready to go! If I don't need, I simply use over the next week, let the bags dry out and fold them up! Simple!

Full disclosure - I have these, but thank goodness, never had to use them. However, I think about the folks up in the mountains of NC after Helene and wish they had these right now! I am not sorry I have these in one of my bags!

As I think of more items - I will add them. Also - FYI - since I have an Amazon Affiliate account with my Boonedocker business, I think I have to put the disclaimer "I may receive a small royalty for anything purhcased through this page" (but I can tell you - it isn't much - haha)
